Who We Are
Our History
The Fellowship was started in 2003. The founder, Bishop Howard Peele, PhD., a retired veteran serving under the Baptist Church, was led by God to start a fellowship of independent churches, who were non-denominational in nature and needed support and a covering. This was the start of the fellowship.
Our Vision
At FOICMI, we envision a space where independent likeminded churches feel loved, valued, and accepted. We strive to create a community where people can come together to worship, learn, and grow in their faith.
Our Community
We are a diverse and welcoming community of believers who come from all walks of life. Whether you are young or old, single or married, military or non-military, or have a different background, we invite you to join us in worship and fellowship.
Our Holy Convocation
At FOICMI, we believe in collectively coming together, at least once a year for our annual holy convocation service. We meet at various churches or hotel spaces in New York, New Jersey, or North Carolina.
